Dallas and Sarah Manring, husband and wife, are the proud owners of Roo General Contracting, specializing in Residential and Commercial Roofing; also specializing in gutters, gutter guard, siding and windows.

Dallas has worked in the roofing industry for 25+ years; working in all aspects of the trade, for other companies. However, it became obvious for Dallas as he worked for these other companies that there was a huge need for an honest company, one that is consistently committed to their client’s best interest.

Sarah became involved when Dallas came home from working for another company one evening, frustrated with the industry. They decided that evening, to jump both feet together into a new company of their own. Sarah put her real estate license in escrow and currently works full time with Dallas running their company. This change made it possible to ensure every customer’s individual needs were not only met but exceeded.

Everyone asks, “What’s Roo?”…. When Dallas and Sarah made the decision to go out on their own, they had to find a name for their company. They brainstormed and decided on “Roo” because that’s their daughter’s nickname. And, as any parent knows, you work for your family and you work extra diligently when your family’s future is dependent on your company. Hence, their motto has always been “work hard and don’t lie”. When you combine those values together, you have the successful company everyone knows as Roo Roofing, a division of Roo General Contracting.

Dallas has earned multiple National Accreditation’s including HAAG Storm Damage Expert and IICRC Insurance Certifications in multiple areas including Mold abatement, Water remediation, Fire restoration, and Odor remediation. This company has crossed every T and dotted every I… even writing their estimates in Xactimate, the same software the insurance companies and adjuster’s utilize after a storm.

Their company is one of the few that has been not only recognized but further Certified by Owens Corning Manufacturer as one of their Preferred Contractors. This means, at Roo General Contracting, you can trust in the fact that they have been trained above and beyond just a regular roofing company. Therefore, their warranties are extended and backed 100% by the Manufacturer due directly to this Certification. Every one of their roof installs is subject to random install audits by Owens Corning to insure consistency, quality, and accuracy. You won’t get the “tail light warranty” that you might with other contractors- meaning, as soon as you can’t see the contractor’s tail lights anymore, your “warranty” is no good.
